About Reggae Pub
Reggae Pub is the oldest and one of the biggest clubs on Samui. In the beginning the Reggae Pub was just a small bar on Chaweng Beach. Established in 1988 with 15 seats and a bar, Reggae Pub grew to a big nightclub later. With its relocation to the lake it expanded to a gigantic fun pub.

In 1995 it burnt down, and was completely rebuilt into the unique architectural wooden building that blended the Reggae style with the traditional Thai style to the modern classical decoration. It gives the place the special atmosphere it has.

A typical Reggae Pub night starts with some solid Reggae by local DJs and continues with crossover live music from The Top (BKK). Around midnight Italian DJ Sergio and friends take over and bomb the party people with some mixture of Hip-Hop, House and Techno.

The Reggae Pub is a long-serving Samui institution and also has its traditions. For example for years the final song of a Party is Bob Marley´s ?No women, no cry?. All the same, go there to relive the old days, win the beer dinking contest and grab a Reggae Pub T-shirt, take some nice Cocktails or a bottle of Sangsom and perhaps befriend that tipsy dancer next to you. Here in Reggae there are no social boundaries, no right or wrong. Reggae Pub has its own style. Style but still the same. It could be said that each tourist who has been on Ko Samui has visited Reggae Pub at least once. If you don?t the Reggae Pub, you don?t know Samui.

Reggae Pub is located on the peninsular of the Chaweng Lake, at Soi Reggae (Reggae Pub Road). It has a small reggae souvenir shop and a cinema area as well. Open seven days a week! Free entry! Lot´s of games and Fun!

DJ Sergio
Born in Italy in 1962 find the way to the music in his early age. After about 10 years live on stage as singer and bass player for an Italian Band. In 1990 his career as a DJ starts in one of the most happening place in Thailand the REGGAE PUB in Koh Samui as the main DJ. In 1993 I've been hired to play at few locations in Miami Fla. U.S. so I moved down there and I stay for about 3 years. Between 1996-2000 I performed often time as a DJ in Japan (Osaka-Tokyo).In 2004 I start to perform also in Singapore at the "Zouc" and the "Cheeky Monkey".
Right now I'm back at the REGGAE PUB in Koh Samui as Resident DJ. In the mean time I'm running my own Studio Recording the "Spahetty House Studio". For the future just God knows.
